Noida-based toy-tech startup Snooplay Raises ₹8 Crore to Build Smarter Toy Journeys for Indian Families

New Delhi | 31 July 2025 — Toy-tech startup Snooplay, headquartered in Noida, has raised ₹8 crore in a Pre-Series A1 round led by Pravek Family Office, with backing from strategic angel investors. The funding will accelerate Snooplay’s mission to build India’s first AI-powered toy ecosystem, designed to transform how toys are discovered, purchased, and recirculated.

Founded by Aanchal Mahajan and Brij Raj Singh, Snooplay began as a curated toy marketplace and is now evolving into a full-stack platform offering intelligent toy discovery, usage tracking, and a buyback mechanism—creating what the company calls India’s first “intelligent toy loop.” With over 35,000 products from 600+ brands, Snooplay serves a fast-growing community of parents, collectors, and conscious gift-givers.

The Vision for Smarter Play

“We’re building India’s only toy app that’s serious about play,” said Co-founder Aanchal Mahajan. “Our app helps families choose the right toy at the right time—and trade it in guilt-free once it’s outgrown. No clutter, no guesswork, just smarter play.”

With AI and behavioral data at its core, Snooplay is tackling what it calls “India’s broken toy story,” where toys often pile up unused or offer little developmental value. The new funds will go toward launching two proprietary tech products and developing India’s largest Toy Intelligence Database, mapping toys to skills, moods, play styles, and learning outcomes.

Empathy Meets Intelligence

“Toys aren’t just products—they’re tools for imagination and emotional growth,” added Co-founder Brij Raj Singh. “But toy buying today is chaotic. We’re fixing that using empathy, AI, and actionable data.”

Purpose-Driven Expansion Plans

  • Nationwide rollout of Snooplay’s tech products
  • Scalable toy buyback programs with NGO partnerships
  • Expansion of private label lines across retail and gifting platforms
  • Investment into backend logistics, data infrastructure, and personalization engines

📦 Toward Conscious Consumption Snooplay’s upcoming initiatives will offer families the ability to donate used toys sustainably, earn store credits, and make impact-aware purchases—positioning the brand as a leader in purpose-driven play.

“We’re not just building a toy store,” said the founders. “We’re reshaping how India plays—with data, empathy, and responsibility.”
