ISB and Maruti Suzuki Launch FundRays to Accelerate Startup Investment Readiness

Monday, September 1, 2025 | Hyderabad, Telangana, India: ISB and Maruti Suzuki Launch FundRays to Accelerate Startup Investment Readiness

DLabs at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki Innovation, has officially launched FundRays, an Investment Readiness Programme aimed at bridging the divide between high-potential startups and the broader investment ecosystem.

The programme commenced with a cohort of 15 standout startups from the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Alumni network, each representing cutting-edge indigenous deep-tech solutions. These ventures were handpicked through a rigorous evaluation process led by a panel of domain experts.

Programme Highlights

FundRays offers a comprehensive roadmap to investment preparedness through:

  • Structured Learning: Expert-led sessions on financial modelling, negotiation tactics, growth strategies, and sustainable business practices.
  • Mentorship: Personalized guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and industry specialists.
  • Investor Access: Direct engagement opportunities with venture capital firms, angel networks, and corporate investors.
  • Demo Day: A final showcase where startups pitch to a curated audience of investors, corporates, and ecosystem enablers.

“At DLabs, our mission is to equip entrepreneurs not only with skills but also with the strategic networks required to scale. Partnering with Maruti Suzuki enables us to deliver a high-impact programme combining hands-on learning with real investor engagement,” said Mr. Saumya Kumar, CEO, DLabs and Director, ISB I-Venture.
