India, September 3, 2026: Cradlewise Inc., an AI-first consumer health and wellness company focused on infant and child sleep, has raised USD 12 million in Series A funding led by 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management. The company will use the capital for growth, channel expansion, product R&D, and geographic expansion.
Growth Strategy
Over the next phase, Cradlewise will expand access through a broader set of online, retail, partnership, and international channels. The focus is to meet parents where they already make high-trust nursery decisions while improving discovery, availability, and assisted purchase journeys without relying on any single route to market.
Founders’ Vision
Founded in 2019 by Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil, Cradlewise began with a challenge the founders faced as new parents. The company has developed AI-enabled cribs that combine sensing, learning, and soothing in a closed-loop system.

- Uses multi-sensor data on movement, sound, sleep state, and context to predict and intervene before a baby fully wakes.
- Saves up to 2 hours of parenting effort each day.
- Technology backed by patents covering hardware and sensing systems.
- 75+ million hours of sleep data continuously improve detection, prediction, and personalization.
- Integrated Pune manufacturing facility produces, tests, and packs thousands of cribs each month, ensuring quality, iteration, and cost control in a safety-sensitive category.
Radhika Patil, Co-founder & CEO, Cradlewise: “Cradlewise came from our own experience of sleepless nights as parents. We wanted to build something that does more than just inform parents that the baby is awake. The smart crib helps babies sleep better and gives parents a much-needed helping hand. This round allows us to reach more families, expand access, and build products that continue to support the sleep journey as children grow.”
Bharath Patil, Co-founder & CTO, Cradlewise: “Cradlewise is about sensing, learning, and having an impact. We wish to create tech that does not shout out its presence but solves challenges in a way that we forget about them. Truly well-done tech should disappear into the background. And more importantly, we take pride in building the engine that fuels this innovation out of India.”
Parenting Problem Addressed
Sleep is one of the biggest challenges of early parenthood, with most baby sleep products either limited to the newborn stage or focused on monitoring rather than intervention.
Cradlewise offers a longer-use smart sleep system that combines:
- A crib
- Contactless monitoring
- Adaptive motion
- A connected app
This system detects early signs of stirring and helps babies settle before fully waking, saving parents up to two hours of effort a day. Already adopted by thousands of families, Cradlewise has built strong parent advocacy around its core promise: longer sleep stretches, fewer nighttime interventions, and less household fatigue.
Anand Batra, Investments Team, 3one4 Capital: “Cradlewise is solving an acute parenting problem with a rare combination of product depth, data, manufacturing control, and customer trust. Radhika and Bharath have built a differentiated sleep system with strong unit economics and a roadmap that can extend the customer relationship beyond infancy. We are excited to partner with them as they build a global child sleep company from India and the US.”
Prashasta Seth, Prudent Investment Managers: “Cradlewise sits at the intersection of two themes we’ve been tracking closely—AI-native consumer hardware and the shift from passive monitoring to active, intelligent intervention. The team’s ability to combine responsive hardware with a deeply embedded software layer is what caught our eye. We’re glad to back Radhika and Bharath as they scale into the next phase of growth.”
Funding History & Roadmap
- Till now, Cradlewise has raised a total of USD 26 million, backed by Sean O’Sullivan Ventures, Footwork VC, Charles River Ventures, 3one4 Capital, and Prudent Investment Management.
- The company is investing in a broader child sleep roadmap, with initiatives beyond the crib:
- Software-led sleep routines
- Related child sleep hardware
- Lower-priced entry points
- Reusable sensing and electronics modules to shorten future product development cycles
The roadmap is designed to extend relevance from the 0–24 month infant window into later childhood, while staying focused on the same parent problem: better sleep, lower intervention, and calmer routines.
Radix Capital Advisors, led by Abhishek Taparia, served as Cradlewise’s investment banking advisor through this round.
