Bangalore | 12th February 2020: Cuppa, the brand that heralded a new wave of the cafe culture, will soon be expanding to over 10 locations over the next 3 months under its new management. The brand that was bought over by entrepreneurial duo, Visakh Viswambharan and Vijay Sreedhar in late 2018, has undergone a transformation over the past year and will soon be launching the renewed face across Karnataka.

Cuppa will primarily be operating under three brand names – Cuppa Cafe, Cuppa Redefined and Cuppa Go.

Cuppa Redefined will primarily focus on leisure food experiences, bringing back the joy of Bistro to Bengaluru. Its extensive menu, curated by the duo, focuses on a healthy but indulgent food experience.

CuppaGo focuses on the on-the-go experiences curating nutrition-packed, fresh and healthy food and beverages. The menu will consist of purely vegan and vegetarian options.

Speaking on the expansion plans, Director Mr. Visakh Viswambharan said,“When we bought over Cuppa, it was known for its chai and basic food. The market has changed considerably in the last decade and we decided we wanted to innovate in terms of food, the look and feel and the general experience of being Cuppa-fied. Our vision is Restore. Revive. Refresh. We take this across the board – in our food, in the ambience and in who we want to be. We want to be a conscious company of tomorrow.”

Adding to this, Mr. Vijay Sreedhar said, “We are a brand of the future. We understand the need to kick back, relax and indulge with something healthy and we understand the joy of a rushed day. So Cuppa caters to both with Cuppa Redefined and CuppaGo. Each of our outlets believes in the vision. For instance, the Cuppa Redefined in HSR Layout is made entirely out of refurbished furniture. It is all about breathing life into good things of the past.”

Cuppa Redefined first outlet, located near M S Ramaiah College, was launched in early 2019. The company launched its next outlet in HSR Layout in January 2020. CuppaGo will be launched in 3 locations in Bengaluru by the end of February and intends to launch 10 more outlets by the end of 2020 in the state.

The company will also be refreshing its existing outlets by the end of 2020.
