Dr Shekhar Ashok Pawar, Founder and CEO of SecureClaw Inc and Cybersecurity Pvt Ltd

With over 21 years of international experience in Cybersecurity, Software Development, and Teleservices, Dr. Shekhar Ashok Pawar is the Founder & CEO of SecureClaw Inc., Delaware, USA, established in 2022. He is also the Founder & CEO of SecureClaw IT and Cybersecurity Pvt. Ltd., India, established in January 2016.

This organization primarily focuses on cybersecurity audits and services. It also provides Software Solutions – including software design, development, maintenance, testing, deployment, and production support – as well as Telecom Solutions. The company is a Channel Partner and Certified Solution Partner of TATA Teleservices Ltd. It is also associated with EC-Council, USA, for cybersecurity training and related services.

Dr. Pawar holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Cybersecurity from the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM), Geneva, Switzerland. He is an engineering graduate and has completed Executive Management with a specialization in Marketing and HR from SJMSOM, IIT-Bombay. He also pursued DSP Applications & Programming from IIT-Madras.

Shekhar has been serving as a Lead Security Auditor for several years. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Certified Blockchain Developer. His credentials include Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is also an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, a Certified PCI DSS Implementer, a Certified HIPAA Compliance Professional, and a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Certified Professional. Additionally, he has successfully completed the “Diploma in Cyber Law” course conducted by Government Law College, Mumbai, and the Asian School of Cyber Laws.

In his earlier roles, Dr. Pawar gained international experience working with various Microsoft technologies and services. He has a proven track record of leadership in the software industry and possesses deep knowledge of CMMi processes. He served as an Assessment Team Member (ATM) during the successful renewal of Capgemini India’s CMMi Level 5 certification in 2015.

Dr. Pawar is also the author of the books “BDSLCCI: Business Domain Specific Least Cybersecurity Controls Implementation” and “Air Team Theory: Understanding 10 Types of Team Mates and Best Practices to Succeed”, which explore the understanding of 10 types of teammates and best practices for success.

He has received numerous awards for his innovations and contributions to cybersecurity. He is also contributor as author of many international research papers, and articles on cybersecurity. Dr. Pawar actively participates in panel discussions on various news channels and has been featured in programs on ET NOW, CNN News18, CNBC Awaaz, NDTV Marathi, Zee Business, and others. He regularly promotes cybersecurity awareness on Radio Mumbai Big FM 92.7 and Bangalore Big FM 92.7.
