Formation of TiE Amaravati Chapter, Andhra Angels Announced

Hyderabad, Telangana, India October 25, 2017: The Board of Trustees of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Inc, the World’s largest network of Entrepreneurs with over 13000 members worldwide, approved the formation of TiE Amaravati Chapter. This was announced by Sateesh Andra, Managing Director, Endiya Partners, Suresh Rayudu Chitturi, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Srinivasa Hatcheries and Purnima Kamble, Partner, Fox Mandal & Associates along with other board members in Hyderabad. With the approval from TiE Global in place, TiE Amaravati is expected to have a formal launch early next month in Amaravati.

Revealing the objective behind TiE Amaravati formation Suresh Rayudu Chitturi said “An organization like The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is the need of the hour to foster Entrepreneurship in the new State of Andhra Pradesh. A large number of Successful Entrepreneurs/Operating Executives are keen and dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community. TiE Amaravati chapter is a perfect platform for contribution and realizing their goals.”

In his address, Sateesh Andra said “With the active support of the Government and Industry, TiE Chapter in the State of Andhra Pradesh will play a crucial role in focusing on creating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. Our immediate focus will be Fintech, IT/ITES, Pharma/Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Agriculture & Food Processing Sectors. TiE Amaravati will also work closely with educational institutions to introduce entrepreneurship based courses in the curriculum, assist in setting up E-cells and incubators to inculcate the entrepreneurial aspirations in young minds.”

Sateesh also announced the formation of Andhra Angels which will become active soon.

Talking about TiE Amaravati’s focus on women entrepreneurs, Purnima Kamble said “TiE Amaravati Chapter seeks to provide a catalytic environment to local women entrepreneurs in the state of Andhra Pradesh by focusing on giving a strong platform of networking, knowledge sharing and mentoring to women entrepreneurs thereby providing opportunities for their over-all growth through integration with the mainstream/national entrepreneurial ethos.”

Founding members of TiE Amaravati includes Srini Raju, Co-founder Peepul Capital and Chairman SriCity, J A Chowdary, Special Chief Secretary and IT Advisor to Honorable CM, Andhra Pradesh, Ramesh Byrapaneni, Managing Director, Endiya Partners, Sridhar Krishnamoorthy, Managing Director, Gerdau Steel, along with Suresh Chitturi, Sateesh Andra and Purnima Kamble. Murali Bukkapatnam, Chairman, Volksy Technologies, shall be the chapter champion from TiE Global Board of Trustees.

We will be enrolling about 30 to 35 Charter Members and several hundred Associate and Student Members in the first year, the board members stated at the meet. The Amaravati Chapter is optimistic its membership strength will grow rapidly in the region.

Anudeep Chappa, an alumnus of DAIICT and IIM Lucknow, has assumed a full-time role in the TiE Amaravati secretariat.
