Hisense India Scales Retail Network with Strategic Great Eastern Alliance

National, September 1, 2025Hisense India, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, has announced a strategic partnership with Great Eastern Retail, one of India’s largest multi-state electronics retail chains. This collaboration will make Hisense’s full product portfolio—including smart TVs and home appliances—available across Great Eastern’s 90+ stores in key markets such as West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, as well as on its online platform.

As part of its aggressive offline expansion strategy, Hisense is aligning with top-tier retail networks to strengthen its pan-India footprint. The partnership with Great Eastern Retail is a pivotal move to meet the surging demand for smart home solutions in India’s rapidly urbanizing landscape.

“India’s urban population is projected to exceed 600 million by 2030. This growth is fueling demand for advanced home appliances and smart devices,” said Pankaj Rana, CEO of Hisense India. “Great Eastern’s deep market presence and consumer insight make them an ideal partner to help us scale across eastern and northern India.”

Pulkit Baid, Director of Great Eastern Retail, added, “The Indian market is evolving toward premium, connected living. Hisense’s innovation in large-screen TVs and smart appliances aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver cutting-edge technology to modern households.”

This partnership follows Hisense’s recent tie-up with Sathya Agencies in South India and signals continued momentum in building a robust offline and online presence nationwide.
