Ideabaaz Acquires 25% Strategic Stake in KickSky to Build a Global Launchpad for DeepTech and SpaceTech Founders

June 2026 | Paris, France: Ideabaaz, India’s leading startup discovery and entrepreneurship platform, has announced the acquisition of a 25% strategic stake in KickSky Space Lab, India’s first venture capital-backed SpaceTech accelerator.

Together, the two organizations will facilitate and deploy $10–15 million investment in promising DeepTech and SpaceTech startups globally, reinforcing their shared vision of building a robust ecosystem for frontier technology innovation.

DeepTech Momentum in India
India’s DeepTech ecosystem is witnessing rapid growth across SpaceTech, aerospace, AI, robotics, advanced manufacturing, climate technology, and defence innovation. Yet, many high-potential startups face challenges in accessing:

  • Specialized industry networks.
  • Strategic partnerships.
  • Global markets.
  • Growth capital.

The Ideabaaz–KickSky partnership aims to bridge this gap by creating a comprehensive support ecosystem for founders.

  • Ideabaaz startups will gain access to KickSky’s global network of experts, investors, research institutions, and partners.
  • KickSky portfolio companies will benefit from Ideabaaz’s nationwide reach, investor access, visibility, and media platform.

KickSky Space Lab Legacy
KickSky Space Lab was co-founded by Riceberg Ventures, E2MC Ventures, and Aniara Space to accelerate India’s emergence as a global SpaceTech powerhouse. Since inception, it has supported pioneering startups with:

  • Funding access.
  • Strategic partnerships.
  • Government stakeholder engagement.
  • International opportunities.

The partnership was unveiled during Ideabaaz’s exclusive side event at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, one of the world’s leading technology and innovation gatherings. This underscores the partners’ ambition to connect Indian innovation with global opportunities.

Mudit Kumar, Co-Founder, Ideabaaz: “India has no shortage of talent or breakthrough ideas. What founders need is access — the right ecosystem, visibility, and opportunities at the right time. This partnership ensures exceptional DeepTech founders across India can access the networks and resources needed to compete globally.”

Ankit Anand, Co-Founder, KickSky Space Lab & Founding Partner, Riceberg Ventures: “For India to become a global DeepTech powerhouse, we need more than capital. We need ecosystems that bridge the gap between scientific innovation and commercial success. Together with Ideabaaz, we can help founders build technologies in India and scale them internationally.”

Raphael Roettgen, Managing Partner, E2MC Ventures: “The success of our first two cohorts has reinforced our conviction that India can produce globally relevant SpaceTech leaders. We are excited to welcome Ideabaaz as a strategic partner and expand our collective impact.”

As the space economy expands worldwide, the partnership positions Ideabaaz and KickSky at the forefront of enabling founders to build technologies that will define the future of:

  • Communication.
  • Mobility.
  • Security.
  • Intelligence.
  • Exploration.
