India’s premier fashion tech store- Design your own clothes virtually with 3D body scanner

15th June 2020: In the era of fast fashion where approx. 3.8 billion clothing is dumped annually, Samshék is one of the first tech startups that effectively combines technology and fashion to solve the two major issues of the garment industry- Sizing & Sustainability. By incorporating tech into fashion, Samshék delivers clothing that fits into any body shape and at the same time turns their consumers into ethical buyers.

Being a tech-based fashion house, they offer custom-made European outfits like corporate shirts, dresses, tops, jumpsuits ranging from casual to evening look.

Samshék is also one of the first to introduce the 3D body scanning technology in India and runs the campaign #sizenobar which creates clothing for any size and any body type. They also have a digital option to input one’s personalised measurements at their store and online as well.

Measurements are being taken by 3D body scanner which extracts 150 measurements in 5 seconds with an accuracy rate of 99.9 % thus eliminating the retail sizing standards and accepting personalised measurement system to deliver the accurate fit in each garment. On the sustainability front, they work towards zero waste policy and keep digital or virtual inventory instead of actual inventory. Each and every order is made for the very first time and hence their industrial waste in minimal. Order placed from the store is delivered within 48 hours and if ordered online delivery is done within 5 days pan India.

The tech start-up is creating a digital revolution in the field of fashion and technology and is soon going to replace mass production with mass customisation. Their vision is to be at the forefront of both fashion and sustainability.
