Mengage raised Seed round of USD 175K from clutch of angles – Siddharth Agarwal (CEO, Silk Asia and President , TiE Rajasthan), Mahaveer Sharma (Chairman, RAIN ), Amit Singal (Founder & CEO, Startup Buddy), Anil Gupta from Doha , Sanjay Harpavat , Dr. Bharat Mohan Raturi, Dr Dhananjay Mangal and 100 Co-founders Lab. MEngage was hived off in the month of Aug, 2017, from 100 Cofounders Lab’s first cohort which started in the month of April, 2015. MEngage – is an app factory Platform that creates hyper personalized doctor apps in a day at 2% pricing with lifelong next-generation patient engagement workflow . Doctors can be connected with his patients on the app, lifelong and can access his medical history on a cloud whenever he visits next time. The workflow covers smart queue management with real-time live tracking of appointments, automated reminders, and few other category specific functionalities. The workflow features cover folder/prescription sharing (Dropbox like), chat app (WhatsApp like), health tips broadcasting through thousands of notifications and blogs etc. Category specifics includes automated child growth curve and vaccination schedules. More category specifics will be built over a period of time.
In addition to this app, MEngage is providing a digital notepad, which captures the prescription while writing on the paper. No additional efforts are required to capture prescription as it becomes part of the process, itself.
Till May end, following metrics were achieved. – Doctors on board 182 from Jaipur, Alwar, Bhiwadi, Bikaner etc, Patient visits 60000 till date, Patient visits per day 600, prescriptions till date 6500, prescriptions per day 100+, Maximum views on health tips on single occasion 1500+, total app downloads 19500, active users 9500. MEngage will be profitable before Dec 2018.
We hardly know any immediate competitor, with the kind of traction we have, who is making the app in the way we are making as part of Hyper Personalized Doctor-Patient lifelong Engagement App (in Name of the Doctor themselves), Says Manmohan Singh, CEO and Co-founder of MEngage . “This app would otherwise need 6 month turnaround time and would cost not less than 6 Lacs against our pricing of 15 k yearly subscription on SaaS Model,” Says Manmohan. The competition we see are from different stacks : Docon ( Pediatrician focus) , Doxper ( Prescription focus) , Doctalk ( chat based connect) and Practo ( Doctor Search Engine and appointment, extending in multiple stacks inorganically ).
