E-Cell BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus has launched Ground Reality, a business plan competition, as part of Launchpad, its annual entrepreneurship summit. The competition offers a platform for entrepreneurs from all over India to showcase their ideas and compete for a prize pool of ₹3 lakh. With over 1000 startups participating in the competition in the past, Ground Reality provides mentorship, guidance, and recognition to all its participants.
It offers a wide range of incentives to participants, including co-working spaces, incubation, cloud space, accelerator programs, and networking sessions with angel investors, startup founders, and VC firms.
One of the highlights of Ground Reality is the Mentorship Program, wherein mentors are assigned to all startups that advance beyond round 2.These mentors help startups identify loopholes in their ideas and refine their pitch decks, preparing them for the final presentation. It provides an excellent opportunity for startups to polish their pitch decks and refine their business models.
The finalists of Ground Reality receive the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas to a distinguished panel of judges at the Launchpad, providing them with valuable exposure and networking opportunities.
