Masai and XLRI Launch 6-Month Entrepreneurship Program to Nurture India’s Next Generation of Startup Leaders

Bangalore, Karnataka, India | 22nd August 2025: Masai, one of India’s leading outcome-based learning platforms, in collaboration with XLRI, has launched a comprehensive 6-month entrepreneurship program aimed at recent graduates, working professionals, and aspiring founders. The program is designed to equip participants with practical skills, mentorship, and industry exposure to transform innovative ideas into scalable businesses.

The launch comes at a pivotal time for the global digital economy, which is projected to reach $23 trillion by 2025, growing at an annual rate of 15–20%. In India, the startup ecosystem continues to thrive, attracting a record $35 billion in funding in 2024, reflecting a robust environment for entrepreneurial growth. Against this backdrop, the Masai–XLRI entrepreneurship program aims to prepare the next generation of founders with the confidence and knowledge required to succeed.

Program Structure and Learning Modules

The program combines live interactive sessions, hands-on mentorship, and real-world projects, organized into six key modules:

  1. Founder’s Mindset – Cultivating resilience and entrepreneurial thinking
  2. Problem-Solving and Idea Discovery – Identifying opportunities and validating ideas
  3. Prototyping and Product-Market Fit – Building MVPs using no-code platforms like Webflow and Bubble
  4. Marketing and Brand Building – Running campaigns and creating brand strategies
  5. Business Models and Fundraising – Crafting financial plans and investor-ready pitch decks
  6. Scaling and Demo Day – Presenting ventures to mentors and investors at XLRI campus

Participants will gain hands-on experience by conducting customer interviews, developing prototypes, running marketing campaigns, and preparing investor pitches. The program concludes with a two-day Demo Day, where top startups present their ventures to industry leaders and potential investors.

Expert Mentorship and Industry Exposure

Prateek Shukla, CEO & Co-founder of Masai, commented,
“India is brimming with entrepreneurial energy, but structured, outcome-driven pathways to turn ideas into ventures remain scarce. With this program, we aim to provide aspiring founders with the mindset, skills, and mentorship to navigate challenges and build sustainable businesses.”

Dr. Arindam Mondal, Program Director at XLRI, added,
“Entrepreneurship has the potential to create long-term social and economic impact. This program reflects XLRI’s commitment to nurturing future leaders who are equipped with resilience, ethical grounding, and practical skills.”

The curriculum features XLRI faculty alongside successful startup founders, investors, and industry experts. Participants will also leverage AI-powered and no-code tools for product development, content generation, analytics, and automation. Collaborative learning, case studies, and direct engagement with the startup ecosystem further enhance industry readiness.
