– Commits to opening over 150 retail stores, spas, launching a reward program, and introducing more than 700 India-first products in the upcoming fiscal year.
February 09- 2023, Bangalore, India: The pet care industry in India was in its early stages around 2008, with only a few small stores offering Chinese products and lacking any organized brand or curation of products and services. However, this all changed when Rashi Narang, founder of Heads Up For Tails, identified a need gap in the market and took action.
Unsatisfied with the limited options available for her pet Sara, Narang set out to create a shopping destination for pet owners to find locally-made, thoughtfully designed products. What started as a small kiosk in SelectCityWalk Delhi has grown into a brand with over 500 India-first products across categories such as treats, toys, apparel, accessories, supplements, food, and walk-gear. HUFT is now present in 15 cities and has 70+ retail stores, a website (huft.com), and an upcoming app launch.
Over the past 15 years, Heads Up For Tails has been a leader in the Indian pet care industry, promoting a more mindful and loving approach to pet parenting through innovation and a mission to improve pet lives. The brand has been instrumental in shaping a new narrative around pet care in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashi Narang mentioned “We started 15 years back, and today are the category leaders. We have invested in research & development, manufacturing, retail expansion and talent development to build the industry. Today, HUFT serves millions of customers across the country, and we are truly proud to be a part of their family”
