We are publishing an interview of Mr. Souparno Majumder, CEO, Cuboid.io – This Kolkata based startup has created an AI based game development platform to help developers for learning codes and build the games.

About the founders

They mutually started of this project on 2/3/2017 to help all the game developers and to contribute to our country’s ever growing mobile gaming industry.

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem? 
we saw that freshers who wanted to have a way into those industries faced a lot of challenges so then i thought if this scenario remain then what will be the future of our youngsters in this field!!! and that’s how i came up with the idea of Cuboid.io as a brand by which we will be able to contribute something to the future of our youngsters who want their way into it,Cuboid.io is an AI based Game Development platform implemented to help developers learn codes and build the games. Developers has always learned from the static blog sites (ex:udemy) and implemented them. the result is often strenuous, and most of the time, without experience people would not know, where to look for the solution, and if there is, how to implement it. keeping this situation in mind, cuboid.io, aims at facilitating people to learn from interactive “code bots”.

What is the uniqueness about your Startup? 
We are working on a project which has never been touched upon and no institution has any plans to contribute to this project in the near future.

Why do you choose crowdfunding? 
it will help us proceed with the platforms development and contribute more to the game developers .

Why should anyone or investor back you? 
This is going to be the next big revolutionary product that with the help of investment it can be made available to each and every person interested to game development and coding

What would you do after raising funds? 
Fund raising will be more of a validation to our product in the market and we will also use the fund for development and marketing of our product.

What is the revenue model? What is the logic behind it? What is the model you are following – Free / Freemium / Premium etc. ? Explain your thought process. 
Our product is both for B to C and B to B where individual customers can use this platform and also gaming companies can use this platform as a perfect employ
As of now we are providing it to the customers for free then we will charge for an upgrade to an advanced version of the platform.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them? 
Students,Game Development Freshers and Gaming Companies .This will help them learn game development and for the companies to treat this as a probable employe

What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how? 
It can be the next revolutionary product on the gaming platform which people may use to code their game all over the world in the coming future.

What is the success story of your startup in your own words? 
We had to face lot of challenges while developing the platform and making people understand the concept of platform.
