We are publishing an interview of Mr. Sachin Yadav, CEO, Students Stop – A startup which has created a platform for the students to get whatever they want for their day to day needs in just few clicks.

About the founders:
Students stop is a joint venture which is owned as well as handled by Sachin Yadav (CEO), B. Tech (CSE) and Ravi Kant Pandey (COO), B. Tech (CSE) graduated from APJKTU (UP) in 2016 batch. Sachin has been working hard since his school days and in college he was known by the name techie and was famous among the students of different colleges for his technical things which he used to perform brilliantly. He has been working as a Data Scientist in Healthcare Start-up, then as a Web designer and a Developer at the service provider marketplace.

Earlier, during the Start-up he has been the head of the business development. He has been working like an entrepreneur since his school days. Ravi Kant Pandey (COO) has been working hard as a mathematician and Geeky guy or you can say an expert in college days. He has been working as a Freelancer with lots of projects and has been researched over the market completely to know about the need of the market and its customers. He has been the hardest worker since his various start-up and gained huge knowledge throughout his working. We have been very good friends and classmates as well.

What is the problem you are trying to solve? 
Since our college days and after completing our studies we thought of creating such platform where students could fight with their problems with our help During our college days we found many problems related to books and equipment of our school and college days, so after completing our studies we both thought of starting such venture and here we are with Students stop. This is the only platform which helps the students to find whatever they want related to their day to day need and for their examination days at just one click.

It’s a great and you can tell a single and a huge cathodic platform for the students who wander here and there during exams for books and other exam related equipment and they get nothing but waste their time and money too, but here with us you will be assured that you haven’t got empty hands after sharing your grievances with us as we don’t let any stone un-turned. We are your first choice where you can find whatever you want for your examinations need.

We are here to serve you as much as we can and as per your requirements and needs, we work for your satisfaction and also for your dreams to make them come true. We deal with a variety of things which could quench different needs of different people living in a metropolitan city.

This Startup Creates a Platform for the Students to Get Whatever They Want for Their Day to Day Needs in Just Few Clicks

What is the uniqueness about your Startup? 
We are not next Amazon or flipkart. We are mixed up of commerce and hyper local. We have on demand delivery, we try to deliver within a day, even in very hours they ordered. next day delivery is guaranteed. We are being connected to students so that we can full fill all their requirements.

What is the revenue model? Explain your thought process. 
We are a marketplace, but we hold inventory on the behalf of our vendors. Students Stop doesn’t hold any inventory of his own, we give them space to keep their product for fast delivery.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them?
Students are our customers, we connect colleges and intern in the colleges with us, they help us to get sold from their fellows.

We make SS college, means that particular is connected with us. we have 20 interns in every colleges connected with us, they do have intern id and get a percentage from the sell they give us. Along with that we give them free study material, personality development courses, sell and marketing and job opportunity.

What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how? 
In the coming 3 years we are going to cater in all over India. Every college will be SS college. We are selling books, stationery and apparatus as of now, but we have a lot of scalability with us. We believe in creating a robust community of students. We gonna be platform to buy, sell and discuss soon.

What is the success story of your startup in your own words? 
Being with students stop has been very struggling. Just after completing our engineering we thought to start SS but to gain some experience and capital we started working in other startups. We took more than 3 months just to study the market. There were the days when we didn’t have the money to buy a domain.

For the sake of money we went to Hyderabad and started working there in a Tech startup. As we got some capital in our pocket we cut out job and started working on students stop in September. We had many challenges related to tech as we were new with limited resources. We launched our startup on 1st of Jan, 2017 but didn’t get a single order till 6 days then we started this intern affiliation program.

Any other information about your startup that you would like to share with us.
Students Stop has launched Scholar Iota (AI chat bot) for students to learn programming from their Facebook messenger. Soon it will be a platform for all the students to study in minute.
