India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces the launch of a most effective system, the launch of Startup India Virtual Hub. India is the 3rd largest startup hub that needed aid from the government. With the launch of this project will give way to many startups and entrepreneurs to connect, engage and explore more opportunities via a common platform like this.

The purpose:
Sharing knowledge and receiving the right guidance had been one of the major drawbacks startups had always been facing. But with the launch of this project, the government claims that it will bring an end to all problems relating to seeking information, lack of access to the right tools, knowledge, and experts. The purpose of the “Startup India Virtual Hub” is to build a common platform for all stakeholders and startup entrepreneurs to communicate, interact, share information, knowledge and grow constantly. This launch has been boon to the ecosystem of Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns.

Project Development:
This project was developed by the support from Noida-based digital technology startup called To The New. This startup was the one who had won the bid. This is India’s first government website to be built with an open API infrastructure allowing seamless interaction of information from both private and public stakeholders across the globe. The pilot version of this website was launched a month back to see if the experience was seamless. More than 500 stakeholders participated in the pilot launch.

The hub project is going to end hassles and give birth to efficiency. With constant support and knowledge sharing on this online platform will enhance the quality of the startups with thorough guidance from the experts and knowledge repository to perform better and find solutions with ease.
