The first cohort of student entrepreneurs had a remarkable time accelerating the growth of their startups and gained valuable insights from amazingly successful entrepreneurs and experienced mentors.
The second cohort of iB Hubs Startup School kickstarted at Hyderabad and Lucknow chapters, for 24 more startups who working on interesting projects like ‘Intelligent Solar Street Lights’, ‘IoT Payments’, ‘Automatic Segregation of Wet and Dry Waste’, and many more!
This week, the program focused on inculcating the core fundamentals of a successful startup in the young entrepreneurs.Sharing their startup stories, the young founders defined the milestones to be achieved during the program.
Program mentors Mr. Dharani and Mr. Sundar helped the startups improve their Business Models and work out the methods to find the best customer fit. The workshop on ‘Design Thinking’ by Shri. Lakshman Pachineela Sheshadri, Vice President of SAP Labs, helped them mold their businesses with customer-centric approaches.
Interacting with Dhruv and Praveen, representatives of Startup India initiative, boosted the participants’ morale and encouraged them to pace up their entrepreneurial journeys.
Many of the student startups of this cohort are in the late stages of product development. Therefore, the program’s focus shifted towards improving the people skills and exploring the product validation methods.
With a session on “Leadership”, Mr. Phani Pattamata, founder of Iphi Group inspired the young ones. His own story from being an employee to the founder of a successful business motivated the students!
Mr. Balaji Viswanathan, founder of Invento and the topmost writer on Quora interacted with the students and taught them the fundamentals of Product Development.
A lot more to happen in the coming two weeks, the young founders are having an incredible time at the cohort, and gearing up to take on their startups to the next levels…
