About the founder
Vasant Patil started his career as an animator 17 years back in a Pune based firm when animation industry was at a nascent stage. Later he was selected in a TV network to head their broadcast animation department and then he went on to work in a fortune 700 company. While working in several media houses, Vasant Patil worked in the capacity of an animator, broadcast graphics compositor, animation supervisor and personally edited TV promos as well. But Vasant wanted to explore more and hence decided to work on own and started Pixel Box Studios to develop branding videos with animations to various companies like Kirloskar, Sansui Weighbridges, Eagle, Manntra Resorts, Ecotech Chutes Pvt. Ltd., Xplore Sports Pvt. Ltd., RMR Group, etc.. and there are several projects in the pipeline.

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
Ans: When any entrepreneur has a great product or a service, it needs to be positioned and promoted from branding perspective to gain visibility in the crowded market. This is where we at Pixel Box Studios bridge the gap through strategically designed branding videos and animations. Today advertising has moved beyond print and TV. Infact print medium is fading off. The emergence of digital media is providing multiple platforms for brand promotion and most of today’s entrepreneurs are harnessing the power of newer platforms to promote their business. Depending upon the clients’ business goals we at Pixel Box Studios develop ad films, corporate films, infomercials, animations, explainer videos and visual effects.

What is the uniqueness about your Startup? 
Ans: At Pixel Box Studios the very artists who work behind the tools directly communicate with the clients. The core team is industry experienced and hence there has always been a focus on domain specialization. So this helps us to be on same page with our clients and exchange several concepts. We are glad that our clients have been able to extract best out of us and take their brand to next level.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them? 
Ans: Predominantly our client base has been in engineering and real estate sector. Most of our business is coming from India and we have handled projects from U.S, U.K, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Japan and Australia as well. As I said earlier that advantage for our customers is that it’s been headed by industry experienced professionals who personally develop the promotional content. So, our ground experience on day to day basis helps us to share newer concepts and trends with our customers.

What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how? 
Ans: For us each day is like a new start up and as of today Pixel Box Studios is focussing on each client’s requirement rather than stretching beyond limits. Each client’s product and service is different and we customize the promotional content accordingly. We are looking forward to handle T.V commercial productions which are artistically and technically very challenging to execute but we are confident of delivering as our time tested team has rich years of experience and specialization in related domains. At the end of the day our client’s brand has to standout in the competition.

What is the success story of your startup in your own words? 
Ans: For us successful delivery of the creative content up to to the satisfaction of our clients has always been a top priority. We use various types of softwares, hardwares and cameras for creative content development and these tools keep changing. But behind these tools it’s the artists who operate them and it’s important to keep upgrading the skills to be in sync with the latest trends and happenings. To make every content delivery successful, we need to keep reinventing ourselves.
