Welcome news for Google Home owners; iRobot adds Google Assistant support to its products

Bangalore, July 1st , 2019: Puresight Systems Pvt Ltd., the authorized distributor of iRobot, the leading global robo-vacuum brand, has announced Google Assistant support for iRobot’s smart cleaning robots. From now onwards, iRobot products will be able to understand and execute commands they receive from Google Home. Anyone with a Google Home can simply say – Hey Google! Ask Rob (Rob could be the custom name for Roomba or Braava) to commence cleaning and Roomba will begin cleaning.

Speaking on this new feature, Pulak Satish Kumar, spokesperson of Puresight Systems, said, “Since the inception of Roomba, iRobot has been at the forefront of robotics technology. Over the years, the company has made significant strides in expanding its global footprint through innovative products, strategic partnerships and excellent customer service. The iRobot devices already come with Amazon Alexa integration, and we are confident our customers will be delighted to be able to control their iRobot products using voice commands through Google Home.”

With a rise in demand for robotic vacuum cleaners and smart devices in general, the Google Assistant support will come in handy for customers who own a Google Home.
