Zypp announces Home Delivery of sanitized e-bikes: A preventive initiative against Covid 19

  • ZYPP launches sanitized e-Scooters home delivery at the customer’s doorstep on weekly/monthly subscription plans
  • Helping Work from home youngsters and other users cover nearby hotspots while driving solo in a green way

India, March 20, 2020: Zypp, India’s first fully electric scooter rental app, announced the home delivery of its e-scooters in Gurugram. Starting today, Zypp e-scooters will be delivered at customer premises in Gurgaon. Taking special precautions with the growing pandemic of novel coronavirus, Zypp is ensuring that all electric scooters are fully sanitized before delivering at the doorstep of customers.

Zypp e-scooters are fitted with IoT locks and thus, can be remotely hired from the app. When the trip is completed, users can simply park the e-scooters in secured Zypp parking points. With the latest offer, Zypp is allowing its new and existing users to have Zypp right at their doorstep and cover nearby areas while maintaining proper social distance in their commutes. While working from home is becoming a norm, many users have a changed lifestyle where they’re not getting transportation means which are at their anytime disposal for nearby grocery shopping and food cravings. With Zypp, they can avoid public transportation or shared cabs which can be prone to the virus and can cover nearby areas in the vicinity while riding solo. Zypp’s free home delivery has opened up an idyllic solution for users.Zypp is available on weekly/monthly subscription plans which are starting at Rs.650/week for Zypp Uno and at Rs.950/week for Zypp Thunder. Zypp Uno is solo ride e-scooter which runs 55km on a single charge while Zypp Thunder is a double ride proper e-scooter which runs 70km on a single charge.

The launch of this offer couldn’t be more opportune, as in these times of lockdown and social isolation, having solo mobility alternatives is more important than ever. Users can avail this facility to cover shorter commute in the vicinity, while maintaining proper social distance and avoiding public transportation by driving solo. I think this is not a good time to ride autos and cabs too and hence a scooter by your side for a week or a month is most safe commute option.
