Zypp Electric aims to enlist 2000 women rider partners within a year and anticipates that at least 20,000 delivery partners will be women.

Gurugram, March 08, 2024: Zypp Electric, India’s leading tech-enabled EV-as-a-service platform, announces a groundbreaking initiative on International Women’s Day. With a commitment to empower women in the green mobility sector, Zypp Electric plans to deploy 2000 women rider partners within the next 12 months. Additionally, the company aims to onboard at least 20,000 women as delivery partners, as part of its larger goal to deploy 200K EVs in the next 24 months.

Zypp Electric prioritizes gender inclusivity across its operations, offering equal opportunities to women in hiring and providing a special joining bonus of INR 2000 to encourage women to join as driver-partners. Furthermore, the company organizes tailored training programs for women, empowering them to pursue roles as mechanics or technicians within the maintenance teams. Collaborating with NGOs and impact organizations, Zypp Electric aims to enhance female representation in the EV sector, fostering a more inclusive industry landscape.
