GIGABYTE Begins Local Manufacturing in India, Strengthening Commitment to ‘Make in India’ Initiative

New Delhi, Delhi, India | 17th December 2025: GIGABYTE Technology Co. Ltd, a global leader in motherboards, graphics cards, and high-performance computing solutions, has officially launched local manufacturing operations in India through a strategic contract manufacturing partnership. This major development highlights GIGABYTE’s long-term commitment to India’s rapidly growing technology ecosystem and aligns closely with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative.

Positioning India as a key pillar in its global expansion strategy, GIGABYTE’s move toward domestic production reflects its focus on localization, supply-chain efficiency, and sustainable growth. The company has already established a strong footprint in the Indian market, offering a wide portfolio of high-performance PC components known for reliability, innovation, and durability.

Motherboards to Lead GIGABYTE’s Local Production Plans

GIGABYTE has initiated its local manufacturing journey with motherboard production in India, with plans to expand into monitors and laptops in the near future. This phased localization strategy will enhance product availability, reduce import dependency, and improve pricing competitiveness for Indian consumers while optimizing logistics and delivery timelines.

India has always been one of our most important markets,” said Mr. Dandy Yeh, Chairman of GIGABYTE Technology. “Through local manufacturing, we are reinforcing our investment in India’s technology ecosystem and bringing world-class products closer to Indian customers.”

Strengthening Supply Chain and Market Opportunities

GIGABYTE is built on a foundation of quality and performance,” said Mr. Eddie Lin, CEO of GIGABYTE Technology. “We will maintain our stringent manufacturing and component standards to ensure reliable, high-performance products reach Indian consumers through a faster and more efficient supply chain. This Make in India initiative also opens new opportunities across enterprise, government, and public sector markets.”

By manufacturing locally, GIGABYTE aims to create a more agile, sustainable, and customer-centric supply chain, enabling faster service support, reduced environmental impact, and improved market responsiveness. With domestic motherboard production already underway and plans to localize additional product categories, GIGABYTE continues to reinforce its role as a trusted technology partner in India’s digital transformation journey.
