Venus Foundation Trust Partners with Himachal Pradesh Government to Strengthen Child Care and Education

Chandigarh | February 4, 2026: Venus Foundation Trust, the not‑for‑profit Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Venus Remedies Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Himachal Pradesh to support child welfare, education, and holistic development across Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in the state.

The MoU was formally signed by the Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur, in the presence of the District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), underscoring the administration’s commitment to strengthening institutional care through public–private partnerships.

Scope of Collaboration
Under this partnership, Venus Foundation Trust will:

  • Design, sponsor, and implement programmes to enhance educational access.
  • Provide experiential learning and recreational exposure for children in CCIs.
  • Upgrade welfare infrastructure in government‑supported facilities.
  • Ensure child safety, dignity, and strict adherence to statutory child protection guidelines.

All initiatives will be fully funded by the Foundation and executed in close coordination with district authorities. The District Administration will facilitate approvals, coordination, and institutional support for smooth implementation.

Ekta S. Chaudhary, Chairperson, Venus Foundation, said: “At Venus Foundation, our work is guided by a simple belief, that meaningful social impact is created when care, education, and exposure come together to shape confidence and opportunity. Rooted in the values of Venus Remedies, our approach focuses on building long‑term, enabling ecosystems rather than short‑term interventions. We believe every child deserves opportunities that inspire confidence, learning, and hope for the future.”

First Initiative
The partnership will be operationalized through on‑ground programmes, beginning with an educational and recreational exposure visit for children from Bal Ashram, Sujanpur. Sponsored entirely by Venus Foundation Trust, the children will travel via Chandigarh to Jaipur, where they will explore:

  • Historical monuments
  • Cultural and religious sites
  • Educational institutions

With comfortable travel arrangements and supervised stays, the visit is designed to provide enriching experiences and learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Impact Vision
Aligned with the state’s vision, the collaboration seeks to ensure that children in institutional care receive:

  • Protection and essential services
  • Confidence‑building opportunities
  • Exposure to broaden horizons
  • Support for overall development

Through this partnership, Venus Foundation Trust aims to strengthen child care institutions and create supportive environments that empower every child to thrive.
