  • Sliq Group (Software Labs India with QGroup) is a newly launched IT venture dedicated to building globally competitive digital products from India, blending Scandinavian design sensibilities with Indian engineering excellence.
  • Operating under the name Software Labs India with QGroup (SLIQ Group), the entity marks a formal re-entry into India’s product engineering and digital experience ecosystem, with a strong focus on product craftsmanship and user-centric innovation.
  • The company’s collective community plans to invest up to $2.5 million over the next three years to develop AI-powered tools and digital platforms designed to accelerate operations, enhance efficiency, and improve time-to-market for clients worldwide.
  • The strategic roadmap also includes team expansion and potential acquisitions of boutique product and technology firms in India, strengthening Sliq Group’s capabilities and positioning it as a leader in next-generation digital product development.

Mumbai | February 24, 2026: QGroup, a Swedish billion-dollar global technology collective operating across 15+ countries, has partnered with Indian technology entrepreneur Deepak Kumar Choubey to launch Sliq Group (Software Labs India with QGroup). The new IT venture aims to position India as a hub for globally competitive digital products, combining Scandinavian design sensibilities with Indian engineering scale and speed.

Strategic Vision

  • Sliq Group (SLIQ) represents a formal re-entry into India’s product engineering and digital experience ecosystem.
  • The company plans to invest up to $2.5 million over the next three years to build AI-powered tools and digital platforms that fast-track operations and improve time-to-market for clients.
  • Roadmap includes team expansion and potential acquisitions of boutique product and technology firms in India.

The partnership brings together:

  • Mikael Kretz, Hakan Paulsson, and Jon Carvell, Founders & Executive Directors at QGroup.
  • Deepak Kumar Choubey, IIT Madras alumnus, with experience spanning CERN, ITC, ICICI Bank, Schbang Tech, SchbangQ, and founder of EpitomeAI, an AI automation startup.

Deepak has also been selected for Draper University’s Silicon Valley accelerator programme, reflecting his global entrepreneurial credentials.

Differentiated Approach
Unlike traditional IT services firms, Sliq Group is positioning itself as a product-focused company emphasizing:

  • Experience-led engineering.
  • Product craftsmanship and design depth.
  • Scalable digital platforms built for long-term business impact.

Mikael Kretz, QGroup Founder, said: “We saw strong alignment in Deepak’s vision. He is not only building technology but crafting experiences that feel intuitive and transformative. This is the kind of strategic thinking we want to bring into the Indian market.”

Deepak Kumar Choubey, Co-Founder, Sliq Group, added: “India has proven its strength in large-scale execution. However, building enduring digital products requires clarity in strategy, depth in design, and a strong understanding of user behavior. Sliq Group exists to strengthen this layer for businesses that want to compete globally.”

Service Offerings
Sliq Group’s portfolio spans:

  • Product strategy and design.
  • E-commerce & SaaS solutions.
  • AI-powered workflow automation.
  • Full-stack application development.
  • Enterprise digital transformation.
  • Legacy system modernization.

Target markets include growth-stage startups, mid-market companies, and enterprises seeking to strengthen product capabilities.

Industry Context
India has established itself as a global hub for software development and engineering talent, but areas like product craftsmanship, user experience design, and integrated product strategy remain underdeveloped relative to market scale.

Sliq Group reflects a broader trend of India in-sourcing, where world-class digital products are conceived, designed, and engineered in India for global markets, rather than simply executed to offshore specifications.
