Bhagva Founder Jagriti Motwani Wins Jagran Achievers Award 2025 for Disrupting Spiritual-Tech

Malaysia, August 5, 2025 – Jagriti Motwani, Founder and Promoter of Bhagva, has been awarded the Jagran Achievers Award 2025 in the Emerging Startup Entrepreneur of the Year category. The award, presented by the High Commissioner of India at a high-profile ceremony in Desaru Island, Malaysia, celebrates visionary leaders creating transformational impact across sectors. The awards are hosted by the Dainik Jagran Group, one of India’s most influential media networks.

Motwani’s recognition marks a milestone for the growing convergence of technology, culture, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. Through Bhagva, a spiritual-tech platform launched in 2022, she has redefined how Indian devotional practices are accessed, preserved, and empowered in the digital age.

Bhagva offers a comprehensive spiritual ecosystem, providing online/offline pooja bookings, daily panchang, astrology, jaaps, and virtual temple experiences, all curated through a user-centric and culturally rooted lens.

What sets Bhagva apart is its dual mission. Beyond tech-driven access to spiritual services, the platform empowers pandits, purohits, and women artisans by supporting their training, livelihood, and dignity of labor. From solar diyas to handmade pooja kits, Bhagva connects faith with sustainability and social impact.

“We built Bhagva to honor not just the rituals of spirituality, but the people who keep them alive,” said Jagriti Motwani. “This award is a powerful reminder that purpose and innovation can go hand in hand.”

Under her leadership, Bhagva is expanding its footprint globally, catering to individuals, corporates, and diaspora communities seeking meaningful spiritual engagement. The platform is actively shaping a future where Indian spirituality is digitized, democratized, and inclusive.

The Jagran Achievers Awards, curated by the Jagran Research Bureau and evaluated by a panel of distinguished economists and entrepreneurs, recognize leaders who drive change with relevance and resilience. Motwani’s win reflects a rising wave of culturally intelligent, mission-led startups shaping India’s future.
