DraperU India Demo Day: 13 Startups Pitch; Ordo & WearSynapse Secure ₹25 Lakh Each

• Ordo and WearSynapse each secured ₹25 lakh in investment commitments from DraperU India, alongside support from Rathnakar Samavedam of Hyderabad Angels.
• The two startups also won a share of the ₹90,000 IDFC FIRST Bank prize pool and earned boarding passes to Draper University’s Hero Training Program in Silicon Valley.

Hyderabad, September 29, 2026: DraperU India concluded its latest Founders Program with a Demo Day in Hyderabad, where 13 startups pitched to 150+ investors, venture capitalists, ecosystem leaders, and industry experts.

The event saw Ordo and WearSynapse secure ₹25 lakh investment commitments each from DraperU India, alongside support from Rathnakar Samavedam of Hyderabad Angels. Both startups also won boarding passes to Draper University’s Hero Training Program in Silicon Valley, Draper’s flagship global entrepreneurship program.

Additionally, Ordo, WearSynapse, and Creator Studio shared the ₹90,000 IDFC FIRST Bank prize pool, with Ordo receiving ₹50,000, WearSynapse ₹25,000, and Creator Studio ₹15,000.

Program Highlights
The Demo Day marked the culmination of a 12-day residential DraperU Founders Program, designed to help early-stage founders refine products, business models, go-to-market strategies, storytelling, and fundraising narratives through hands-on mentorship and investor interactions.

The Demo Day jury included: Aaliyah Barker (DraperU Ventures), Rathnakar Samavedam (Hyderabad Angels), Murali Bukkapatnam (Volksy Technologies), Srinivas Kollipara (Biome, T-Hub), Rohith V. Nair (IDFC FIRST Bank), and Deepika Palreddy (DraperU India).

Founders received mentorship from leaders including Kiran Chandra Valluri (Dallas Venture Capital), Biswadeep Das (VC Mint), Sravanth Gajula (AdOnMo), Indraneel Gupta (Portl Technologies), Avinash Chenreddy (Constelli), Sai Chaitanya Kokku (DraperU India), Christ Joanna (Draper University), and Aaliyah Barker (Draper University).

Startups will continue engaging with DraperU India through investor follow-ups via the Draper Angel Network and campus access. The next Founders Program begins in early 2027 in Hyderabad.
