Edtech Startup ‘Winuall’ Aims to Become a Shopify in Tutoring Market

New Delhi | 13th July 2020: With COVID 19, tutoring industry has undergone drastic transformation from being offline to digital. During covid, tutors were struggling with business continuity & there was a need of individual tutors, small tutors to go totally digital thus providing the students the comfort & convenience. With the trend of online tutoring, Winuall (edtech startup) that aims to disrupt the online tutoring industry has partnered with more than 2000 tutors during these pandemic. In the last 3 months, Winuall has achieved 10X growth with 70% month on month growth in both revenues and transactions. The key driver of this growth has been freemium plan which has influenced 40% solo tutors shifting to the paid plan within seven days of signup.

Winuall is empowering tutors & providing tools like live classes, online quizzes, AI-based recommendations, online courses, building online platform etc to become fully digitized. This way solo tutor has been able to achieve business continuity & the company plan to enhance the online tutoring ecosystem in India & build more entrepreneurs in this sector.

Commenting on this achievement, Ashwini Purohit – Founder of Winuall said, “We aim to become Shopify in online tutoring market thus helping tutors with tools like SaaS platform and e-commerce store on their app that enables them to sell their services & build their brand. Our next goal is to empower 100,000 tutors within the next 6-9 months.” He further added that we have seen massive growth in the lockdown phase with over 8Mn+ Minutes of learning in a month with over 5Mn+ responses recorded by students. The average learning time on the platform has shot up by 790% in the last three months.
