All India | June 15, 2026: BonV Aero, India’s leading UAV manufacturing startup, has announced the establishment of the country’s first public Drone Park – a 30-acre drone manufacturing campus in Khordha, Odisha. Envisioned as a first-of-its-kind concept, the facility will combine advanced UAV manufacturing with a curated visitor experience, offering firsthand engagement with the UAV ecosystem.

Vision Behind the Drone Park

Satyabrata Satapathy, Co-founder & CEO, BonV Aero, said: “The first time I saw a drone take flight, it left a lasting impression on me and shaped the path I chose. Through BonV’s Drone Park, I hope to spark that same sense of awe and possibility in every visitor, especially young, aspiring minds who will go on to shape and secure India’s UAV future.”

Facility Highlights

  • ₹300 crore campus, inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
  • Advanced UAV assembly lines and a Centre of Excellence.
  • Training rooms and certification halls for pilots and technicians.
  • BonV Experience Centre: designed to inspire and engage visitors, from knowledge seekers to thrill seekers.
  • Cafeteria and thoughtfully designed visitor spaces, creating a destination that blends industry and experience.

Unlike most UAV and defence manufacturing facilities in India, BonV Aero’s Drone Park will open its gates to visitors in a structured and guided manner, allowing them to see how drones are designed, built, and flown, all within a single integrated site.

Economic & Strategic Impact

  • Expected to create 1,000+ jobs across manufacturing, research, and pilot training within two years.
  • Positions Odisha as a hub for the wider drone economy, not just a production base.
  • Supported by federal production-linked incentives and Odisha’s Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing Policy and B-MAAN scheme.
