National, October 15, 2026: Kitchen Secret, a preservative-free brand of ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook sauces founded by Renuka Kedia and Manav Kedia, has raised INR 1.14 crore in its first external funding round, led by BeyondSeed, with participation from angel investors.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen marketing efforts, expand inventory, increase distribution across quick-commerce platforms, and scale the brand’s business-to-business (B2B) operations. The investment will support Kitchen Secret’s efforts to expand consumer reach and build on its presence across direct-to-consumer (D2C), quick-commerce, and B2B channels.

Brand Journey
Originally established in 2016 as a passion-led venture, Kitchen Secret received strong customer response but was discontinued due to marketing and distribution challenges. In 2023, Manav Kedia revived the brand amid evolving consumer preferences, growing interest in global flavours, and the rapid adoption of quick commerce in India.

The relaunch featured refreshed branding, an expanded flavour portfolio, and in-house recipes. Since then, Kitchen Secret has:

  • Expanded into Italian, Mexican, and Korean-inspired flavours
  • Established its own manufacturing setup with a production capacity of 500 kg per day
  • Sold over 100,000 jars
  • Built availability across 500+ Blinkit dark stores

Manav Kedia, Co-Founder, Kitchen Secret, said: “We didn’t come into this with industry experience, just a love for good food and a belief that India was ready for it. Over the past three years, every day has taught us something new, and we’ve used each lesson to improve. Our goal is simple: to keep getting better until Kitchen Secret is the name people trust most for sauces.”

Radhika Jain, Co-Founder & CEO, BeyondSeed Middle East, added: “India’s evolving consumer landscape presents an opportunity for brands that combine differentiated products with convenience and accessibility. Kitchen Secret has demonstrated the ability to build a distinct product portfolio and establish distribution across quick-commerce, retail and B2B channels while remaining bootstrapped. We are pleased to support the team as it strengthens its market presence and scales its operations. We believe the brand is well-positioned to build on its early traction and tap into the growing demand for convenient, globally inspired food products.”

BeyondSeed’s Role
BeyondSeed operates through a SEBI-approved Category I AIF in India and a USD-denominated Category I AIF in GIFT City, enabling tax-efficient cross-border investments by global angel investors. Its investment in Kitchen Secret will support the brand’s growth across consumer and institutional channels.

Multi-Channel Presence
Kitchen Secret sells through:

  • Its own website
  • Online platforms including Blinkit, Zepto, and Amazon
  • Supplies to the HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, catering) sector
  • Offers white-label and private-label manufacturing services

With the fresh capital, Kitchen Secret aims to strengthen distribution, improve brand visibility, and scale its presence across consumer and institutional channels.
