“I lost my mother to Cancer and have been a close witness to the pain and sufferings borne by her. We believe that giving them a small reason to smile and make them forget their pain even for an instance means a lot. And hence, doing our bit in reducing the traumatic experiences that they are undergoing at this tender age.”, said Sankalp Shangari, Founder and CEO, LALA World.
The 7-day festival will include multiple therapies, including, poetry, music, dance movement, theatre, cooking, storytelling, craft and art. The instructors holding these workshops are a group of artists and therapists, spending time teaching children the importance of mental health to cope up with their treatment.
