Winners of PsychEd 2025 Students from Sunbeam School Lahartara Varanasi

GURUGRAM, September 5, 2025 — Sunbeam School, Lahartara from Varanasi has emerged as the champion of PsychED 2025, India’s largest and most comprehensive psychology quiz competition. The Grand Finale, organized by the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences at Fortis Healthcare under the leadership of renowned psychiatrist Dr. Samir Parikh, concluded today at Fortis Memorial Research Institute.

National Competition Showcases Student Excellence

The 8th edition of PsychED attracted unprecedented participation with over 900 schools competing from 190 cities across India. Following multiple elimination rounds, six finalist teams advanced to the Grand Finale after winning their respective zonal competitions.

Final Results:

  • Winner: Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Varanasi
  • First Runner-up: Navy Children School, Mumbai
  • Second Runner-up: Deens Academy, Bengaluru

The competition featured six regional zones, with 12 teams competing in each zonal final. The Grand Finale participants included Cambridge Court High School (Jaipur), Bal Bharti School (Ludhiana), Sunbeam School (Varanasi), Navy Children School (Mumbai), Deens Academy (Bengaluru), and Vega School (Gurugram).
