Telangana Reaffirms $1 Trillion Economy Vision at GCCX Hyderabad Summit

Hyderabad, India – Telangana has reaffirmed its ambitious vision of becoming a $1 trillion economy, with IT/ITES as a primary growth driver, said Mr. Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, ITE&C Department, at the GCCX Hyderabad Summit, jointly organized by 3AI and HYSEA.

The event marked a major milestone with 3AI signing an MoU with the Government of Telangana, setting the stage for deeper collaboration to strengthen the Global Capability Center (GCC) ecosystem in the state. GCCX Hyderabad aimed to bridge national-level insights with regional innovation, spotlighting Hyderabad’s growing stature as a technology and innovation powerhouse.

Shaping the Future of AI and Innovation

With a sharp focus on the transformative power of Generative AI (GenAI), the summit explored key themes such as:

  • Value creation through GenAI frameworks
  • AI-enabled enterprise transformation and innovation
  • Ethical, regulatory, and governance frameworks for AI

The government remains committed to our $1 trillion economy goal, with IT/ITES playing a pivotal role. Governments must go beyond being regulators—we see ourselves as co-creators of the future, transforming Telangana into a global hub for emerging tech, including AI and Quantum Computing,” said Mr. Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, ITE&C, Government of Telangana.

Hyderabad: The New Frontier for AI-Native GCCs

Reflecting on the enthusiastic response from the packed conference hall, Sameer Dhanrajani, CEO of 3AI, noted: “AI-native GCCs are fast becoming the new rallying point. Parent organizations are increasingly counting on their India centers to drive both top-line growth and operational efficiency. The surge in GCC activity across Hyderabad is a testament to the strategic, high-impact work happening here.
