RectorMart is a startup extending its arm to college students and aims to achieve great heights of success.
RectorMart comprises of two words where one is “Rector” which means the head of certain universities, school or college and the other being “Mart” which means a platform where you can buy and sell things or desired stuff. RectorMart allows the buying and selling of student related stuffs like novels, guides, books, laptops, study tables, electronics (earphone, headphone), course books, study materials, study related accessories(calculators, drafters etc) or you can say anything and everything that relates to the college requirements. Along with that, it also allows you to share a ride with your peer, find individual for your flat or P.G as a roommate for rent. This startup saves 3 hours of college students life by making their life easy.

Well…!!! RectorMart is a like a free classified for the college students out there. Every student aspires to have fun and at the same time a resourceful college span, RetorMart is that platform which helps them attain their desire.
As you know a classified website allows you to post a variety of ads. But then, RectroMart is something special because it is the platform that welcomes all the college mate to sell their old and used things to their college peers for the best deals at RectorMart and make money. It also allows you to save your money by buying things from this platform. Not only that it gives a wing to your social life as you get to meet peers when you share a ride, room for rent with another, etc. Some even become good friends in the process of executing the deal. Birth Of The Startup: RectorMart was launched on 12th March, 2016. The technicality of the website, marketing strategy and the idea of RectorMart is being governed by the co- founders, Paras Abbat and Pranay Sagar who are Software Engineers by qualification. And Rajeev Matharu being the support of the startup.
This startup is started by these aspirants with a motto of creating a right and convenient place for the college student to consummate their buying and selling activities at fewer clicks. They aimed at creating an opportunity to ease the college life of the students through this platform.

Basically, when they started up they felt that creating a well-built product would be the greatest challenge coming in the way, but soon they realized that “Marketing” was the biggest and core challenge in the path of success.
RectorMart is a startup that dreams to solve the problems that a student faces associated with the college requirements during his college life. Slowly, it started flourishing when the students from a variety of colleges started visiting their website and Facebook pages. They then felt confident when students started liking their Facebook page and started sending inquiries.
RectorMart is growing tremendously in the regions in and around Chandigarh. It received a warm welcome with about 2000 plus likes in their Facebook page. There had been about 1000 ads published in RectorMart so far

The founders came up with this idea to help students save money. Because during their college life they had to always depend on a broker or any other person to fulfill their need, which wasted their time as well as money. They have set a goal to target the North Indian colleges in the next six months of time and later would like to extend their platform to a wider scale. To promote their startup they are making effective use of Free advertisement based platform like Facebook, online websites and blogs.
