Indo – American Chamber of Commerce, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Branch launched a unique Bootcamp to scale Women Entrepreneurial ventures named SHREE on occasion of Women’s Day 2019. SHREE was launched today by Ms. Katherine Hadda, Consul General, US Consulate, Hyderabad along with Mr. Srikanth Badiga, Chairman, IACC AP & TS, Mr. Vijaya Sai Meka, Vice Chairman, IACC AP & TS.
“I am delighted that our friends at the Indo American Chamber of Commerce have taken up this initiative in support of women’s entrepreneurship and economic empowerment,” commented U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad Katherine Hadda, “This workshop offers the chance to teach these aspiring entrepreneur’s best practices from both Indian and U.S. perspectives. This program is especially fitting in Hyderabad as it is in keeping with the goals and spirit of the 2017 U.S.-India Global Entrepreneurship Summit that was held in this city with the theme of ‘women first, prosperity for all’”
“This is an immersive 2 days bootcamp scheduled to be held on 11th & 12th of April in Hyderabad. The boot camp will include sessions on various scaling up and going global strategies. SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX) will provide post Bootcamp Mentoring support for 3 months for all the participants. The Capital Net has been roped in as the Knowledge partner,” said Mr. Srikanth Badiga. Facilitators from prominent B-Schools, Industrialists from India & US connection, Business and sector specific Mentors will be part of this initiative, He added.
IACC took this initiative to identify and promote potential businesswoman who are already in business and wish to expand their operations globally especially to USA, said Mr. Vijaya Sai Meka. He added that this program will give them required knowledge and guidance to think about global operations, where the opportunities and returns are realistic. IACC will connect these business women to potential business partners.
