Mithun Raman is another cofounder, CTO. He is a software engineer who worked at Amazon and now @Tailians – Software Development, Tech R&D.
Mithun is a friend of a friend who was looking forward to an entrepreneurial career. When he learnt about the idea it took him very less time to join hands and start developing Tailians. We started working on the product which took us 2+ years with full time dedication to complete and release in the market.
A perfect blend of design, technology and marketing has helped us reach so far in terms of product quality and trust.
What is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
Tailians is building an ecosystem for all animal lovers where individuals, experts, businesses, social workers all come together to make friends, share ideas, knowledge, improve business, and get all kinds of solutions.
We realised that every individual has some thought about animals.
They either like animals and live with them. Fear them and want to overcome their fear. Just want to help animals in some way or the other.
It is this thought that we are addressing by connecting people with the common interest. Tailians will be catering to all kinds of animal lovers right from domestic animals like cats, dogs and fishes to farm animals like cows, horses, elephants.
Every aspect of animal well being will be covered under Tailians @ a global level.
What is the uniqueness about your Startup?
Hyperlocal connections with pet owners, experts and professionals. From a regular pet parent to a small business owner – all will have some reason to be a Tailian.
What is the revenue model? What is the logic behind it?
Advertising is the biggest revenue model for Tailians.
Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them?
TG – Pet owners, pet business, home based pet business, career hunters in pet industry.
What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how?
Tailians will increase the awareness level of animal well being in the society. It will provide platform to people where they will be able to get connected with the right solution provider be it an SOS call or finding a pet boarding or if anyone is looking to make a career in pet world seriously. It will aid in reducing the challenges involved in pet parenting.
When people of similar interest come together there is a high chance of improving the concerned society.
