The Founders Conclave – National Level Startup Event to Be Organised in 20+ Cities in India

RedMad Learnings and its team is organizing a National level startup event called The Founders Conclave. The conclave is to happen at 20+ cities across India Including Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities.

The Founders Conclave is an event for the entrepreneurs, of the entrepreneurs and by the entrepreneurs. The event aims to reduce the gap between investors and best startups across India. The conclave provides the platform to learn and network from fellow entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.

A structured process of startup evaluation & valuation helps both investors and startups to take best decision on funding process.

The conclave is spread across 6 months from April 2017 – September 2017.

The entrepreneurs can nominate themselves in the conclave in any one of the 3 categories:

• Idea Stage (Registration fee – Rs.1000/-)
  • Entrepreneurs should apply in this category if their ideas are still raw. Entrepreneurs who only have an idea and still working on market research, planning & strategy are eligible to apply in this category.
  • The best idea in this category will receive a Cash reward of Rs.25,000/- 

• Prototype Stage (Registration fee – Rs.3000/-)
  • Entrepreneurs who have their prototype ready and looking for funds to launch the product/service are eligible for this stage.
  • The shortlisted startups will have an one-one meetings with the Investors & Investor groups 

• Growth Stage (Registration fee – Rs.3000/-)
  • Startups that have already been launched are eligible for this criteria.

Screening Rounds
The Screening rounds are to be conducted at 20+ cities across India to filter some of the most promising startups. Each Startup will be given 5 minutes during the screening process to showcase their project. A 3 member jury panel will evaluate the startups on pre-set parameters.

The screening process will start from 1^st June onwards. The conclave screening centers are as mentioned:

Investor-Startup Meetings
Post screening, the selected startup decks will be send to the Investors & Investment groups associated with the conclave. Post deck evaluation the Investors will have one-one meeting with the startups to discuss on the terms & financials.

Conclave Finale
The startups that have successfully raised the funding will be handed over the cheques during the Conclave Finale. The term sheet will also be signed on the same day. The Finale will also have other sessions like Panel Discussion, Q&A with Investors, etc.,

The conclave is supported by investor groups like Hyderabad Angels, Rajasthan Angels Innovators Network, Lead Angels and Venture Catalysts who will be investing in the startups that are shortlisted. The investment range varies from 5 Lakhs rupees to 8 Crore rupees.

We wish to mentor them & connect them to prospective investors. We don’t believe in Gyan Sessions or CEO Talks and hence we don’t have any of these in our programs.
