SINGAPORE – Scoot, Singapore Airlines’ low-cost subsidiary, today announced significant network expansion with new routes to Chiang Rai (Thailand), Okinawa and Tokyo (Haneda) in Japan, alongside increased frequencies across multiple destinations to meet growing holiday travel demand.

New Destination Launches
The three new routes will launch progressively between December 2025 and March 2026, bringing Scoot’s network to 76 destinations across 18 countries and territories.
Chiang Rai, Thailand
Launch: January 1, 2026 | Frequency: 5x weekly | Aircraft: Embraer E190-E2
Nestled in northern Thailand, Chiang Rai offers mountainous landscapes and rich Lanna heritage. The province’s diverse hill tribes contribute to a unique multicultural tapestry reflected in its distinctive architecture, cuisine, and art.
Okinawa, Japan
Launch: December 15, 2025 | Frequency: 3x weekly | Aircraft: Airbus A320 family
Japan’s subtropical paradise features pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and distinctive Ryukyu culture. The archipelago boasts UNESCO World Heritage sites showcasing both cultural significance and natural beauty.
Tokyo (Haneda), Japan
Launch: March 1, 2026 | Frequency: Daily | Aircraft: Boeing 787 Dreamliner
The new Haneda service provides travelers with convenient access to Japan’s bustling capital, complementing Scoot’s existing Tokyo (Narita) operations.

One-way economy fares start from:

- INR 10,500 to Chiang Rai

- Bangkok: Increased from 35 to 39 weekly flights (August 2025)
- Ipoh: Enhanced from 17 to 21 weekly flights (November 2025)
- Chiang Mai: Progressive increase to 14 weekly flights by December 2025
North Asia
- Tokyo (Narita) via Taipei: Expanding to 14 weekly flights (October 2025)
- Sapporo (Hokkaido) via Taipei: Increased from 4 to 7 weekly flights (December 2025)
- Taipei: Service growth from 23 to 28 weekly flights by December 2025
- Jeju: Enhanced from 5 to 7 weekly flights (January 2026)
Europe
- Vienna: Increased from 3 to 4 weekly flights (March 2026)
