This year marks the tenth anniversary of Ubisoft’s presence in India with studios located in both Pune and Mumbai.

Three different programmes are on offer, ranging from:
– 3-year programme in Game Art and Design
– 18-month programme on Game Art
– 6 -month programme on Game Design

The courses aim to impart skills that are essential for those who would like to pursue a career in Game Design and Art.

Students will benefit from the wide network of international partners including industry titans, universities and gamers.

Ravi Deshpande, Co-Founder of école intuit.lab said “Gaming today is a thriving creative industry, rivaling the popularity and impact of the entertainment industry. What’s more, gaming calls into play the highest levels of design skills, aesthetics and drama. It’s only natural therefore that we at intuit.lab offer a course on gaming design, along with accomplished design and gaming professionals.”

“Ubisoft India is proud to collaborate with one of the best art institute in Mumbai. This initiative demonstrates our ambition to contribute to enhancing video game talent in India. Creativity and strong skillset are key in video game development hence this unique curriculum supported by école intuit.lab and Ubisoft will help to develop the right expertise for our industry. As a part of the course, students will have the opportunity to exercise their learning during their practical internship with Ubisoft. The integration with our studios in Mumbai and Pune will allow students to be well prepared for their future career in video game,” said Samira Chabani, Human Resources Director at Ubisoft India.

Yan Garin, Associate Vice President Operations at école intuit.lab said about the new programmes “Game design studies are often seen as a pastime for young people whose only talent is to spend hours on a couch fidgeting with a game controller.

It’s actually far from that. Creating a game requires a set of skills that very few other industries involve: a third of technical understanding, a third of psychology and a third of business appreciation. In other words, you need to know what will excite your audience, whether it’s feasible and if it will make business sense.

Admissions Open for 2018 intake – UG and PG programme in Game Art and Design.
