StudioBackdrops Launches SBD Creators, a Nationwide Mentorship Programme for India’s Emerging Visual Storytellers

22 July, New Delhi | India: StudioBackdrops, India’s largest platform for photography, videography, and audio‑production gear, has announced the launch of SBD Creators, a nationwide mentorship programme designed to help aspiring creators gain practical industry knowledge from seasoned professionals.

This initiative formalises mentorship efforts StudioBackdrops has supported since 2020, bringing them together under one structured community spanning fashion, wedding, cinematic, and advertising photography.

Bridging the Knowledge Gap
As professional equipment becomes more affordable, the real challenge for new creators lies in mastering its use. SBD Creators will provide guidance on:

• Equipment choices and smarter investments
• Lighting setups and creative workflows
• Client management and career decisions

The programme is open to creators at every stage, regardless of follower count or online reach.

Expanding Beyond Metro Cities
StudioBackdrops has long worked with creators in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. Through SBD Creators, this outreach is now formalised, with content being produced in regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, and Gujarati, with plans to expand further. The goal: onboard at least 100 creators by 2026, representing all 28 states.
